2019 CLEAR AA Annual Report

Good monitoring and evaluation can help humanity successfully navigate its way through stubborn paradoxes and mounting uncertainty.Effective M&E must be done in “joined-up” systems. Disparate, disconnected processes in planning, implementation, reporting and evaluation cannot deliver the insights andanalysis we need to manage complexity and operate with agility, especially in the confusing, cacophonous world we have created. For CLEAR-Anglophone Africa, 2019 was the year in which we made a very intentional decision to shift to a more systemic approach to our work.
