Tshiamiso Trust: RFP Financial Literary Review

Background

For the past year the Trust (through an external service provider) has been delivering Financial Literacy training and counselling to beneficiaries who successfully lodged a claim with the Trust. While we believe that this programme is delivering successfully on the narrow requirement of the Trust Deed, the scope and need exist to make a vastly more significant contribution. The aim is to make a more lasting difference in uplifting the claimants that we have been set up to benefit.

The following provides more detail on this RFP and bidder responses.

Project Duration

• The Trust envisages that this Assessment Phase will be concluded within eight weeks including the development of the report and presentation back to the Trust.

Response format

Potential service providers can respond in free form format addressing the following sections:

• Scope
• Methodology and Approach
• Staffing
• Fees
• Company profile and references to similar projects concluded previously.

Evaluation and appointment

The evaluation team will evaluate the responses and make a recommendation on the appointment of one or more service providers to deliver the Assessment Phase. Upon approval of the recommendations, one service provider will be appointed, and other participants will be informed of the decision. The service provider appointed may be invited to the final RFP for the complete solution, but no other potential bidders will be negatively affected in the final round by this appointment.
