Special Investigating Unit (SIU) : Manager-Strategy Planning

The SIU is an independent statutory body established by Proclamation R.118 of 31 July 2001, issued in terms of the Special Investigating Units and Special Tribunals Act no. 74 of 1996 as amended (“the SIU act”). The purpose of the SIU is to investigate serious malpractices, maladministration and corruption in connection with the administration of State Institutions, state assets and public money as well as any conduct, which may seriously harm the interest of the public. Furthermore, the purpose of the SIU is to institute and conduct civil proceedings in any court of law or a special tribunal in its own name or on behalf of State Institutions.


PACT: Monitoring &Evaluation Officer

The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will be based in one of the above-mentioned Province and will report to the DSD HIV/ADIS Coordinator and Technical Advisor G2G National Manager. Due to the high levels of HIV infections in the country, USAID has seen an opportunity to partner with DSD to scale up the YOLO programme in KZN and Gauteng provinces for a period of five years. The incumbent will also be responsible for the implementation of systems and frameworks that support rigorous knowledge production, documentation and sharing in order to strengthen the YOLO monitoring and evaluation and evidence-based programming capabilities


PACT : Data Capturer

The Data Capturer will be based in the above-mentioned Province and will report to the DSD HIV/ADIS Coordinator and Technical Advisor G2G National Manager. The incumbent will capture, validate, manage data and generate reports on various the G2G project performance related information and statistics from Non- Governmental Organizations (NGOs)/NPOs.


PACT: Project Administrator

The Project Administrator will be based in Pretoria will report to the Technical Advisor G2G National Manager. The incumbent will provide administrative support to G2G team to facilitate G2G project goals and Objectives achievement.


UNICEF : Team Member

UNICEF’S Evaluation Office is commissioning a formative evaluation to examine the relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, sustainability and coherence of a programme to better understand and respond to the particular vulnerabilities of children on the move in the Horn of Africa region. The evaluation is scheduled for implementation during 2020.

Broadreach : MER / DATIM Team Lead

The MER/DATIM lead will oversee, coordinate and prepare external funder reporting requirements through to submission with escalation to line management on any possible risk for the business or best practices identified for implementation escalation. Oversee all internal and adhoc reporting requirements as required. Oversee DATIM process from start to completion to meet funder requirements.


Frontline Aids : EJAF Uganda – Deep Engagement Grant: Final Evaluation Study.

The Uganda Deep Engagement Grant (DEG) is a two-year (2018-2019) project funded by the Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF). The project aims to address the high rates of HIV (13.7%) and STI (39%) prevalence among LGBT persons in Uganda and their limited access to health services. The latter is due to prohibitive laws and policies; lack of information; low HIV risk perception and health care seeking behaviour; stigma and discrimination; limited health facilities with KP friendly services; untargeted interventions; negative providers’ attitudes and limited medicine stocks.
