The project is managed by the Gauteng Education Development Trust (GEDT), an independent Trust established by the GDE and private sector partners in 1997 to fund-manage and implement projects on its behalf. The project is aimed at improving the performance of learners in Grades 1-3 and beyond. Zenex Foundation, on behalf of the GEDT and project partners, would like to commission an independent evaluation of the project. This document outlines the call for proposals to undertake the evaluation.
