Australia Awards in Africa : Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Australia Awards is a DFAT funded initiative designed to equip Africans with the skills and knowledge necessary to contribute to sustainable economic and social development outcomes of their own countries; and to build the long-term, sustainable links with Australia. Australia Awards in Africa provides a mix of Scholarships and Short Courses to Africans in the public, civil society and private sectors in targeted disciplines that support the home countries’ developmental priorities. Australia Awards is managed by Palladium on behalf of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trading (DFAT).

Twende Mbele : Rapid Evaluations Approach

Twende Mbele is a multi-country peer learning programme on Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) in Africa. It’s founding country partners are Benin, South Africa and Uganda with Ghana, Kenya and Niger added on as collaborators. Since it began operations in 2017, Twende Mbele has worked closely with Benin, South Africa and Uganda to improve their National Evaluation Systems (NES) through creating demand for M&E, sharing learnings on M&E and creating tools collaboratively to improve M&E systems.


United Nations : Annual Global Call for Proposals

The United Nations Trust Fund to End Violence against Women is accepting applications for its 22nd grant cycle (2018). Civil society organizations are invited to submit grant proposals for a minimum of US$50,000 up to a maximum of US$1 million for a period of three years.


Amos Trust : Completing the Cycle project evaluation

Amos Trust, a UK-based human rights organisation, in partnership with uMthombo, an organisation working with children and young people on the streets in Durban, South Africa.It is seeking an experienced evaluator to conduct a Final Evaluation of the impact and key learning from Completing the Cycle programme, a three-year programme run by Umthombo Street Children, an NGO in Durban that has been funded by Comic Relief through Amos Trust.


Sonke Gender Justice : Process Tracing for Addressing the Gender Dimensions of Migration and Health

Sonke’s programmes are firmly rooted in a progressive gender and human rights framework developed over a decade. This is in recognition of the fact that sexual violence against women is propelled by rigid gender roles and exacerbated by underdevelopment across the region– high unemployment and inadequate social services, especially in the critical public health and education sectors.


SEAD : DATA Analyst

The SI Data Analyst will work as part of SEAD’s Strategic Information (SI) Team and will be based in our Cape Town office SEAD's aim is to improve the performance of efforts aimed at achieving 90-90-90 targets in the South African District Health System, through more efficient and effective use of health data. We provide both bespoke data analyses and routine information products; that are useful in guiding and improving the performance of implementation strategies. We work with a range of PEPFAR partners as well as the Department of Health at district level.
