Amanda Jitsing leads the public economics, monitoring and evaluation practice at DNA Economics. She began her research career in 2003 and has been involved in about 60 research projects. Over the past 15 years, Amanda has helped government departments, multilateral institutions and donors to design evidenced-based programmes, monitor and evaluate them. She has worked extensively in the education, health, social welfare, the built environment, criminal justice and energy sectors. Amanda specializes in evaluation, and her work in this area spans across several sectors in all three spheres of government. She is well-versed in the evaluation theory, approaches and methodologies. Amanda has led national evaluations for the Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation. These evaluations use mixed methods that combine quantitative and qualitative research methods to draw out findings on major policy issues faced by the country
