Senior M&E Specialists

Wazima Development Solutions is identifying M&E consultants for a prospective programme providing TA to government, private organizations, NGOs, CBOs operating in HIV Prevention. We are looking for both short and long term M&E specialists with the following capacity: 

• At least 7 years M&E experience in HIV/AIDS programmes
  
• Strong preference for South African citizens
  
• Experience with System Strengthening programs, working with MOH and DOE at the national, provincial, district and community levels
• Experience training and/or guiding local staff in elements and techniques of monitoring and evaluation and related activities
• Proven training and workshop experience;
• Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and/or experiences in descriptive and analytical study designs, qualitative and quantitative research methods, sampling techniques, and statistical analysis;
• Demonstrated knowledge in and experience with USAID reporting requirements;
• Demonstrated skills, abilities, and experiences to communicate effectively orally and in writing;
• Demonstrated effective planning and organizational management skills;
• Demonstrated experience in participative development of organizational and donor aligned M&E Plans;
• Computer literacy in basic database and statistical software and Microsoft applications;
  

• The ability to travel extensively to program locations within South Africa.
