As part of the Presidency’s initiative in developing an integrated and co-ordinated government wide approach towards Monitoring and Evaluation, The Policy unit (PCAS) in the Presidency hosted its first GOVERNMENT WIDE MONITORING & EVALUATION LEARNING NETWORK. The GWM&E Learning Network is being established to provide a forum where professional development and experiential training can be coupled with knowledge of existing M&E practices and systems in government. Sharing of experiences and information will enhance professional development in M&E practice and improve programme performance achievements.

The theme for this 2 day workshop was “IMPLEMENTATION MODALITIES AND INNOVATIVE INSTRUMENTS IN GWME”. It was held last year (2007) at the Innovation Hub from the 28th to the 29th of November.

Keep your eyes on our website for announcement of the next GWME Network later this year.
