This will be Channel Research’s first Training in Monitoring and Evaluation applied to conflict programming in Colombia. After the great success of the Channel Research training in Europe and Africa, Channel is expanding the training to the Latin American practitioners.
This course covers the basics of evaluation and applies them to peace-building and conflict prevention with a view to addressing the specific challenges this application poses. It is intended for people who have already engaged in evaluations or who have carried out work in peace-building and conflict prevention. Specific experience in conflict resolution evaluation is not required. The training will be hold in Spanish.
The course method is built on the sharing of expertise, achieved in an interactive way on the basis of specific project examples discussed and analyzed jointly. Participants are therefore asked to contribute their own real life case studies, some of which will be selected for group work during the course.
