The benefits of becoming a member of SAMEA will increase as membership grows. However, some of the benefits to be reaped with immediate effect upon joining include:

• Opportunity to participate in expert facilitated discussions
• Reduced rates to professional development events
• Access to reserved resources on the SAMEA website
• Notification of employment and contract opportunities 
• Special initiatives for students
• Opportunity to advertise services in a 'Directory of Services'
• Right to participate in the affairs and decision-making processes of the association

You can choose one of two categories of membership:

1. Individual members who will be individuals interested in participating in or benefiting from the work of the Association, including but not limited to practitioners, users of monitoring and evaluation services, and monitoring and evaluation educators.
2. Student members, who are enrolled at recognized higher education institutions.

Annual membership is R150 for membership and R60 for student membership. Membership shall be terminated three months after membership fees are due, in the event of such dues not being paid.
