Event: Evaluator Competencies/Professionalizing the Field

The Open Forum, held in Cape Town in August, is intended to encourage debate, dialogue and discussion on how (and if) South Africa and other African countries should move forward with establishing evaluator competencies. Confirmed speakers include Jean King (AEA/University of Minnesota), Keiko Kuji-Shikatani (Candian Evaluation Association), Indran Naidoo (PSC), Howard White (3ie) and Greet Peersman (representing UNAIDS).

Andy Rowe Seminar Series Available on DVD

The South African Monitoring and Evaluation Association, in conjunction with the South African Public Service Commission, hosted a seminar series with world renowned evaluation expert Andy Rowe earlier this year.  The Seminar Series DVDs will be available at the SAMEA AGM in August. Orders can be placed with Refilwe (info@samea.org.za). Seminar presentations are available for download under our "Resources" section.
